I have seen advertisements for Java Apps for the C3-00 phone. So far I have not been able to download any to my computer or phone to install in my C3-00. If any reader has successfully installed a Java App (not from the OVI store) please tell us in the comment box below. We will be grateful and we will acknowledge your contribution in this and future posts.
We hope to extend the life of the C3 (in our possession). So far the C3 has been good to me, whenever there is free WIFI :)
The only way I've been able to load jar's is to download them from the site to my computer, and then, using Nokia's PC Suite Installer to install on my phone.... Installer is kind of sloppy about where it puts the app, so I usually have to MOVE it to the proper location (APP, GAME, etc) after install.
ReplyDeleteOrdering the app on line to call my phone with a web page to connect to(the app never installs that way) -- or straight install to the phone through the C3's browser hasn't worked very well, unless it's at the OVI-store ...
But I'm a newbie .. maybe there is a better way.
My carrier is Consumer Cellular -- it doesn't allow WIFI ...
